Good Dog is so excited to announce a new service…Dad in the Dog House boarding services!

Still care about him but need a break?

🐾 board him in our spacious private, climate controlled suites with private outdoor access, unlimited fresh water.

🐾 space available for daycare or overnight - perfect when you need help while you are out having fun!

🐾 friendly staff will interact and play with the dads, making sure they still get plenty of exercise with other dads, in the play yards or enrichment time with a puzzle.

Good Dog is not responsible for Dads who don’t want to go home after their stay and wish everyone a happy April Fool’s Day!

We cannot begin to say THANK YOU enough to everyone who came out and supported our 1st Annual Pintwood Derby! A lot of work happened behind the scenes and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Thank you! Brudergarten Beer Garden at Shepherd’s Old Field Market was our incredible and gracious host. The weather was absolutely perfect to hang out in their large open area to watch the races. What a great place to spend the afternoon. Silvestro Entertainment was our MC and kept the races exciting for everyone.

Best of all, the community came together and helped us raise $2000 for the local youth!

Planning for the 2nd Annual Pintwood Derby is already underway. Keep your eyes open for a date to be announced soon!

Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge’s Cadillac “Dog Wagons”

Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge was an animal lover and she founded the Morris & Essex Kennel Club.

Her “Dog Wagons” were built on extended 1939 Cadillac “Sixty Special” chassis. The two cars, six and eight door limousines, fitted with coachwork by an unknown maker, were used to transport her show dogs.

It is a special Cadillac with a 200-inch wheelbase; the interior has ample accommodations for eight dogs to ride in comfort. The cages are made of duralumin and built as part of the car although they are removable if it is desired to take them out.

We had a wonderful time talking to students at Father Andrew White, S.J. School’s Career Day today. They are celebrating Catholic Schools Week and today was a celebration of Community. There were speakers for a dozen careers and Watch and I spoke to 3rd through 8th graders about being a dog trainer and safety around dogs.
