🐾 Meet Minnie & Mickey! 🐾
These two adorable cats are currently waiting for their forever homes at the Appomattox Animal Shelter — and yes, they're as sweet as their names suggest!

💗 Minnie is a gentle sweetheart who loves chin scratches and cozy spots by the window. She is the all black one with her no tail self
💙 Mickey is playful, curious, and always ready to explore his surroundings. He is the black with white on his face.

Both have already been spayed/neutered, and they’re just looking for someone to love them as much as they'll love you!

Whether adopted together or separately, Minnie and Mickey would make purr-fect companions. 🐱❤️

This sweet male dog was found today June 3 in the Appomattox area, near Lombardy st. He appears to be a medium-sized breed, friendly, and seems well cared for – possibly someone's lost pet!

We found a hound dog in the Long Creek Rd area near Wheeler Springs Rd in Appomattox. The dog is friendly and appears to be someone's pet – no collar.

🎉 Adoption Alert! 🎉

Today is a day full of happy tears and wagging tails – Lovett, our longest-term resident, has finally found her forever home! 🐾❤️

Lovett spent many days bringing love, loyalty, and giant snuggles to everyone at the shelter, and now she gets to share all that sweetness with a family of his own. The best part? She'll be joining her sister, who was also adopted from our shelter! 🐶👫

It’s a beautiful full-circle moment and a reminder that every dog’s perfect match is out there – sometimes it just takes a little longer to find. 🏡💫
