I would like to take a few moments and express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Southern Camp Canine and Rebecca Starling. We got a beautiful tan and white Shih Tzu named Gizmo. He was wild when we got him from the previous owners. He refused to deal with me and my wife. He loved my two Grandsons (who live with us) and stayed in the room with them. We had to go out of town, and we boarded Gizmo with them. That’s when I found out that Rebecca ran a training program. It was a 30-day session. While we missed him greatly, we kept in touch thru texts and pics. On September 20, Rebecca brought Gizmo home to us. I would have never believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. He had settled down. He came to us. She went over the different commands he understood, and we practiced. Soon she left to go home. He went outside with me on a leash. No pulling. No wildness. A completely different dog! Two weeks in and he comes when called. He jumps up on the chair with us. He keeps me company as I work daily. He loves belly and back scratches. This week, I decided to try going outside with him with no leash! FANTASTIC! Does his business then wants to play! This is the dog I wanted when we chose Gizmo. I cannot thank Southern Camp Canine and Rebecca Starling enough! Just a superb job of training. He is a joy to have in the family.
