Please remember that no pet should ever be released into the wild! Their chances of survival are slim, and they risk becoming environmentally-devastating invasive species.

Goldfish, for example, grow to enormous sizes, outcompete native species, and contribute to poor water quality by mucking up the bottom sediments and uprooting plants.
