318 small pets missing in Tucson, Arizona. 250 of them were apparently adopted through a private rescue who were unable to give assurances to San Diego of where they were adopted to in a matter of a few short weeks.
-Do not harass or threaten the rescue--that will not help the ongoing investigation.
More than 300 small pets left the San Diego Humane Society in a truck on Aug. 7, headed for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Dozens of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice were headed for new opportunities to get adopted.
