When a dog stays with us they are more than just a boarding “client”. They become family to us. Whether they are here for traditional boarding or as a rescue/foster, we learn about them and move at their pace. We teach them that there will never be a reason to have fear when they are with us. We give consistency, stability and structure. This is Swag who came to us not even 2 weeks ago. The first picture was the day she came and the next two pictures were taken yesterday. Just 12 days after being here she has stopped being afraid of her own shadow. She rarely cowers when our hands reach for her. She is wagging her tail. She is learning to play and understand that she isn’t going to be hurt because of it. As she becomes more comfortable we expose her to a few more things to bring her out of her shell. I can’t wait to see her full potential. She is gentle, loving, obedient, house trained, likes watching tv, food motivated and extremely loyal. Stay tuned for more updates as she learns and grows daily! Jessica De Leon
