PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING A RABBIT FROM ME AND LIKE POST TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS.
Sales Policy 2026
Thank you for considering and/or purchasing a rabbit from The Garland’s Rabbitry. These sales policies are for the benefit of my rabbits. By purchasing any rabbits from me, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below.
•All Sales are final. No refunds, replacements, or exchanges, this also includes if you trade anything for a rabbit.
• No rabbits will leave my possession until they are paid in full.
• Once any rabbits leave my possession, I will not be held liable for any problems that arise from our transaction.
• My rabbitry is privately owned and is a closed rabbitry. I do not have set hours that I am available. A time may be set up for you to come and view available rabbits in public or outside of the bunny barn.
• If you come into a position where you can no longer take care of your rabbit I will consider taking it back. You are free to contact me and ask me if I have an available space for your rabbit. If I do not have room or refuse to take the rabbit back it is up to you to rehome your rabbit.
• I reserve the right to cancel a sale in person or via the internet with no explanation.
• I require a 50% deposit to hold a rabbit. Rabbits will be held for one week after deposit is made unless another arrangement is agreed upon.
• Deposits are non-refundable. If I cancel a sale without notice then your deposit will be returned.
• Rabbits are sold at a first come first serve basis. I will not hold a rabbit without a deposit.
• If your rabbit is not picked up within 24-hours of our arranged pickup time and date your deposit/ payments will be forfeited.
• If you chose to forfeit the sale for any reason your deposit/payments will be forfeited as well.
• Rabbits will not leave my rabbitry any younger than 12 weeks.
• I accept cash & e-transfer only!

• I do not guarantee a rabbit’s show or breeding results. I also do not guarantee any rabbit’s future breeding ability, reproductive performance, quality of offspring, show winning, temperament, or size, etc.
• You are responsible to look over the rabbit you are interested in. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know what you are looking for, and to confirm it is free from disqualifications and is the show quality you expect. **If you want show quality you need to express this so we can discuss if said rabbit is even able to be shown**
• I do not knowingly sell any sick animals, and all rabbits are sold healthy to the best of my knowledge. I will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred by rabbits that have been sold.
• I make every effort to correctly identify the s*x of all rabbits however rabbit gender cannot be 100% guaranteed.
• I do not offer a carrier for you to transport your rabbit home. Please come prepared.
• I can bring rabbits to shows that I already plan on attending. If you are a no show or don’t confirm a time you are coming, you forfeit your deposit and the rabbit will be made available immediately at the show and you may be placed on a Do Not Sell list.
• Rabbits sold as “pet quality” will not come with a pedigree.
• Rabbits with pedigrees will not leave my rabbitry without a tattoo in their left ear. Tattoos may not be changed. If I discover this has been done you will be placed on a Do Not Sell list.
• Pedigrees will be given the day the rabbit transfers hands OR when I have time to do pedigree after said rabbit has sold. Just please remind me I am human I will forget.
•If abuse or neglect is to be found upon your doing you will be placed on a Do Not Sell list.
•If you are a repeated time waster/lowballer, you will also be placed on a Do Not Sell list.
•Rabbits are animals. I don't allow aggression in my herd but this does not mean they will never bite, especially in new environments. I will not be held accountable for injuries from said rabbits.
•Pedigrees contain truthful information, do not alter this information. If you are found altering the information you will be placed on a Do Not Sell list.
•I will not find a transporter for you, you need to do that yourself. A time, date, and location needs to be set with a transporter before a deposit will be accepted.
•I offer to meet in cities close around me for people travelling a bit farther for rabbits. Most of these cities are 30 minutes from me. If you wish to meet in one of these cities, I need to know what direction you are coming from and we can work out a day as I do travel on a regular basis already. Anything farther out will have a gas fee that will need paid before leaving. Failure to meet without proper notifications will add you to the DNSL. I try to confirm meeting the night before or morning of.
My rabbits are livestock, not freebies, not starter pets, not “my kid wants one,” and not something I owe anyone. I put money, time, and real work into them every single day—feed, hay, clean water, clean housing, weather protection, health checks, breeding control, and culling when needed. That’s responsible animal husbandry, whether you like it or not.
I will never give rabbits away to random people just because they ask. Free animals get treated like trash. They get neglected, overbred, dumped, or killed slowly by ignorance. I won’t be part of that.
