Update: Luke is safe! He has had his neuter surgery and has a foster in Connecticut. You can apply to adopt this love bug who has been tested and does great with both cats and dogs. He has another chance of finding a forever home after his owner became terminally ill and felt no choice but to leave him at a shelter.
If anyone would like to contribute, I am trying to save Luke. I am awaiting calls back from the shelter and from boarding to see if they can pick him up and board until I can get there. Message me if you would like to help
‼️HELP‼️ on euthanasia list ! UPDATE: Suppose to be euthanized Monday but shelter is desperately trying to give more time since they are so sweet! They are trying their best to hold off on euthanizing til Friday now but if more dogs arrive they may be euthanized any day 😭🚨. FIVE SWEET DOGS IN NEED!!! *adopted*💛Jesco: Approximately 1yr old, mixed breed, male, around 50lbs. Did OK on dog test ✅🐶 although was shy. Poor Jesco came in with 3 doggie friends (Clair, Boswell & Jiff - all adopted/rescued) and he is now the only one left and he doesn’t know why he was left behind 😭.
*rescued non partnered rescue*💙Luke: an incredibly sweet and friendly guy who NO ONE has even asked about and we have no idea why 😭. Luke is a 2 yo, 50lbs, sweet baby boy who ended up at the shelter for no fault of his own other than an owner who abandoned him 😭. Understandably, he doesn’t know what he’s doing here and is getting increasingly depressed and stressed in the kennels 💔. In spite of this, Luke did GREAT on his dog test ✅🐶, even enticing one of the less playful dogs to play with him, which he was THRILLED about. He did well on cat test too ✅🐈. About pledges: Pledges are only collected/sent to our approved rescue partners. We do this to ensure our followers money is going to reputable groups. If anyone would like to attempt to work with us, they should fill out the app on our website below. We are not your “normal” networking page. Please read the about us section for info on us.
The process on our page: We try and raise at least $700 (inflation is killing us) in pledges for each dog who is in good condition and we likely can find a foster for. If a dog is in bad condition & likely hw+ we strive for $1100 goal due to the injections & boarding for the treatment. Pull fees at the shelter are currently $35 for the vaccines shown below. We are a non-profit so we collect the pledges, subtract the pull fee and donate what's left to the rescue for whatever else they may need (further vetting, HW testing, HW treatment, transport, boarding, etc.). Pledges are for non-profit rescue partners only. Please help us help them! Pledges are ONLY for rescue orgs. partnered with us.
