🐴💔 MEET OUR SWEET GIRL… SHE NEEDS A NAME & A LOT OF LOVE 💔🐴
This sweet girl came to us without even a name. But one thing we know for sure… she deserves a chance. ❤️
Just look at that MANE! 😍 She is absolutely beautiful, and underneath all that hair is a girl who has clearly been through a lot.
She has foundered at some point, and unfortunately, her feet are in really rough shape. Her dental health is even worse. She is very thin, and it is heartbreaking to think about how long she may have gone without the care she desperately needed.
But her story doesn’t have to end there. ❤️
We stepped up for her because she needed someone to say “yes, we’ll help.” Now she has a safe place, food, care, and people who are going to fight for her every step of the way.
🦷 Our equine dentist is coming Thursday to evaluate her teeth and let us know exactly what kind of dental work she needs. Dolce and Snowball will also be getting their teeth done.
🩻 She may need X-rays of her feet so we can determine how much rotation there is from the founder and figure out the best plan for getting her comfortable and on the road to recovery.
💉 She also needs to get caught up on her vaccines and receive the ongoing veterinary and hoof care she needs.
This is going to be a long road, and we know there will likely be some significant expenses along the way. But she is worth it. Every single bit of it. ❤️
We know times are tough for everyone right now, and we truly understand that. We are incredibly grateful for every donation we have received to help with Shelby. We also recently received a HUGE blessing when an angel donor stepped up and paid just about half of a major vet bill. We are beyond thankful. 🙏❤️
