Hi neighbors. I want to do something small but meaningful here in our community.
I live in Cape St. Claire and run a local dog waste cleanup service called “Call for Doody”, and I’d like to set aside a few recurring “community care” spots at no cost for neighbors who truly need a hand. I’m thinking of folks on a very limited income who also have mobility challenges, a disability, or are elderly, and have a hard time keeping up with dog p**p yard cleanup but still want a safe, usable yard.
If you know someone who could benefit, please nominate them by sending me a private message. Please do not post names or personal details in the comments. Just tell me the neighborhood area (Cape St. Claire, Arnold, Broadneck) and a brief description of the need. I can reach out discreetly.
My intent is simple: start with a small number of households and increase the number of pro-bono spots as the business scales. I’ve reached the point now where I’d like to take on two pro-bono clients. This is not a giveaway or a contest, just a neighbor helping neighbors.
If you are the person who needs help, you are welcome to message me as well, or you can email me at [email protected]. If you’d like to know more about the service I provide before reaching out, you can find more details at callfordoody.com. No judgment, no paperwork, and I’ll keep it private. I look forward to helping a couple neighbors out, and hope everyone has a great weekend.
