It’s a very busy, but productive week with our Board and Train dogs! The program teaches 5 basic obedience behaviors (sit, down, place, heel, and come), works on individual behavioral concerns, and fine tunes social interactions with other dogs. Once a dog learns the communication of training and can follow through with obedience anytime, anywhere we can make so much progress working through specific behavior concerns. Learning how to “be a dog” in a cohesive pack is also a big part of our program since it ensures that dogs can communicate well with each other too. This week we have separation anxiety, ball obsession, jumping on people and over fences, nuisance barking, and significant leash reactivy to work through with the various dogs.
