Your turn. We know you have stories.
A haunted house but it’s just ______.

It’s slowly becoming the nature dog toy collection I’ve had in my head for years.

The natural world we love to explore doesn’t have a voice in our elections, but we do.

From forests and wildlife to clean air, water, and open spaces, the choices we make shape the world all living beings depend on.

Make a plan to vote, and vote for wild places, wildlife, and a wild life.

Meet the Magnolia Treat Dispenser.

What first drew me to the magnolia seed pod was its texture: overlapping, petal-like shapes layered around a little pod. There’s so much there for a dog to explore with their mouth, and I wanted to bring that quality into a toy.

That became the Magnolia Treat Dispenser. Textured petals for mouthing and chewing, a hollow center for treats and kibble, and an irregular shape that sends each bounce in an unexpected direction.

Like everything we make, it starts with something found in nature and curiosity about what a dog might do with it.

Made in the USA. Available now at loblola.com.

No 2: Leaf Scatter

A little autumn enrichment, courtesy of the leaves already on the ground.

For this Five-Minute Adventure, scatter a handful of your dog’s food or treats among dry fallen leaves and let them sniff out the good stuff.

The shifting leaves, unfamiliar scents, and hidden treats turn an ordinary patch of ground into a little foraging adventure.

FIELD STUDY 01: Why a pinecone?

Loblola started on an October camping trip in 2017, watching Lola pick up pinecones from the forest floor and carry them around like she had discovered something important.

There was no activity set up for her. No puzzle to solve. She had simply found an object worth investigating.

That became the starting point for the Loblolly Pinecone.

We kept what made the real thing interesting: the texture, the irregular form, the spaces between the scales. Then we turned those scales into places to tuck food and made the center fillable, giving dogs different ways to lick, chew, paw and work at it.

We didn’t start by asking how to make a better dog toy. We started with something dogs were already interested in.

A black Milkcap has appeared.

A limited seasonal color of our mushroom-shaped slow feeder, made for licking, nosing, carrying, and whatever else your dog decides to do with it. It has the same food-safe, freezer-friendly design as the original Milkcap, only now in black.

We made only a small batch for the darker days ahead. Available now on our website, while they last.
