While the majority of our locations service the local farmers and crop producers, our Anna location is the primary hub for Southern FS feed services. Both Keith and Jasper have spent their due diligence in training classes and seminars at the Purina Mills Research farm, as well as other training opportunities along the way. By doing this, we are able to offer you our knowledge and experience, something you can’t find at all other farm, feed and pet stores. Aside from bagged feed, Southern FS in Anna is able to create custom bulk feed blends to fit your own personal feeding criteria. By using quality ingredients and supplements, we are able to offer excellent feed mixed just for you. This herd of 56 crossbred cows are located in the Crab Orchard refuge where horn flies and ticks are a very bad problem....

This herd of 56 crossbred cows are located in the Crab Orchard refuge where horn flies and ticks are a very bad problem.Starting April 1st this herd was
put Land O Lakes Rangeland mineral altsoid cooked tub. This tub gives the cows all the vitamins and minerals a beef cow needs in reproductive stage. The altosoid is the insect growth regulator which kills the fly eggs before they hatch as you can see from pictures it is working very good . This herd does not have any back rubbers or hasnt been sprayed with any Fly sprays this summer.Along with the tub cows in the herd get an insect fly tag in one ear.The last 4 years this method has worked very successful for this herd.

4.Mineral with altosoin and tasco
tasco helps lower the body temp.so cows dont stand in ponds as much and helps with breedback and many other important issues with cattle
