The answer is C! Often, broken nails result from traumatic injuries. That being said, because our pets frequently lick and chew at their feet due to allergies, their nails can sometimes become rough and jagged from chewing. Symptoms of allergies can vary and may include itchiness, red or inflamed skin, ear infections, hives, hot spots, excessive sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, vomiting, diarrhea, hair loss, swelling, face rubbing, and increased shedding. If your pet is experiencing any of these symptoms, please call us and schedule an appointment.
