Just realized I never posted Indiana State Fair results! So happy with how showing went and cant wait to get through molting so we can get back.on the tables!

Everyone needs a best friend/cobreeder like mine! She saved the day yesterday! I had to work 12 hrs in a hot basement and got worried about the rabbits. So Janalle came over, did chores and even brought some of the blue holicers in for me! It would have been a LONG day for them in that heat and so I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Janalle at Pfef’s Pals Rabbitry for helping me keep my heat hating babies safe & cared for! SOME RABBITS ARE WORTH IT.. i will say this until i'm blue in the face. There is nothing worse than losing a pregnant mom. Due to the heat. It's not ideal, but I will always bring them in.

I lost one of my favorite does ever 2 years ago from the heat and I'll never make that mistake again.

It was a fast paced but fun filled weekend! I always love showing in Shipshewana because its close to home and I get to see so many rabbit friends who dont get to travel as far as I do sometimes! This location is in my top 3 (besides Lowell & Coldwater). We had some awesome placings which is always a plus but it was refreshing to get so many new perspectives & lots of learning done this weekend. Especially with the Holicers! I love getting to talk to judges about them and how theyre changing & evolving in and around this area.

As always, congratulations to ALL the winners this weekend! There were some super quality animals hitting the table of multiple breeds!

Yesterday was a great time at the Brian Lambert Memorial show in Argos, IN. Thank you Calumet RBA for throwing a nice show. Good food, good judging and great friends! It was one of the most laid back shows ive been to for awhile. We had a phenomenal showing! I wont put all placements as they varied from show A & B and i yet again, did not write them down.. im going to try and be better.. but ill post highlights!
