When Renee was searching for a new pet, she explored several rescue organizations. What stood out about The Rescue Crew wasn't a complicated process or endless requirements—it was the feeling that love came first.

Little is a quiet observer who prefers to keep things low-key. She’s an independent spirit, happiest when she has her own space to relax and watch the world go by. While she may be a bit timid at first, she’s gentle and appreciates a calm environment.

🐾 Meet Pea: Tiny Tortie. Big Personality. Bigger Comeback. 🐾

At 8 years old, Pea has earned the right to be a little particular—and honestly, she wears it well.

After losing her home and ending up in a shelter, Pea was just 24 hours away from running out of time when The Rescue Crew stepped in. It turns out her famous “tortitude” may have had more to do with aching joints than attitude. Since getting the care she needed, Pea has blossomed into a sweeter, gentler version of herself.

She enjoys naps, snacks, affection on her terms, and leisurely strolls from room to room. Pea would love a calm home where she can be the center of attention and spend her golden years being appreciated for the wonderful cat she is.

As part of our Respect Our Elders adoption program, Pea's adoption fee is just $65 for adopters age 65 and older.

Princesa is the ultimate snuggle buddy—her favorite place is curled up next to you, soaking up all the belly rubs she can get!

She adores kids and spends her afternoons playing with them, always gentle and sweet. Princesa is leash, crate, and potty trained, and she’s happiest when she’s part of the family routine—whether it’s a morning walk, a jog, or just relaxing together in the evening.

🐾 Happy Tails for Opie! 🐾

It's hard to believe it's already been several months since Opie found his forever home on February 2, 2026! 💛

His family shared that from the very first moment they met him, they knew he was meant to be theirs.

"At first sight we knew he belonged to us. Such gentle eyes — we could tell he was nothing but love."

They also told us the adoption process was easy and helped ensure they were the right match for Opie, which is exactly what we hope for every pet and family.

These days, Opie is living his best life and has become a beloved member of the family. He especially loves spending time with his best friend — the family's 5-year-old female spaniel. The two are inseparable and happiest when they're together. 🐶❤️🐶

Happy Tails for Fergus (formerly Kahan)! 💛🐾

This sweet boy is celebrating one-year in his forever home — and it sounds like he’s living the good life!

His mom Denise shared that Fergus is “such a sweetie” with an incredibly gentle personality, and we absolutely love hearing that the adoption process was a smooth experience from start to finish. A special shoutout to foster mom Jamie for helping set this little guy up for success — we especially love that they’ve stayed in touch!

And in true fresh-start fashion, Kahan received a brand-new name after adoption: Fergus 💛

His adopter also completed a DNA test and discovered Fergus is:
🐶 50% Pembroke Welsh Corgi
🐶 50% Miniature Schnauzer

Which officially makes him a “Schnaugi”… and 100% loved.
