Hop River Shepherds is seeking a part-time employee to assist with caring for day camp/boarding dogs.
This involves supervising one-on-one and group times outside with the dogs, leash walking, cleaning kennels inside and out, cleaning fenced areas and play yards, occasionally feeding, etc.
General kennel and dog handling experience is preferred, as well as the ability to learn and grow.
We are an outdoor facility; being able to work outside with various types/sizes of dogs in different weather is a must. Must be able to work on your feet for 3-4 hours at a time.
We're looking for an employee who can cover mostly weekday shifts, including early morning (some days starting at 7:30am) & afternoon. Some weekend shifts can be available as well. Hours & availability will be discussed further.
Candidates must be extremely reliable, have a positive attitude and able to communicate well.
