CB Pet Sitting has learned of the passing of Murphy. Murphy and his siblings Cooper, Willow and Madison were one of our very first clients. Murphy was an absolute sweetheart and a true golden retriever’s golden retriever. He was one of the most well behaved, loving dogs I have ever met and I am so glad I did.
Please keep their humans Ted + Stefany Koogle in your prayers. ❤️

Due to rising gas prices across the country, I hated having to do it but I have to implement the following changes:
$75 per night for overnight stays in Pendleton, Hartwell, Liberty, and Honea Path effective May 1st.
We also will not be able to do Drop-In's in those areas as well.
This is temporary until gas gets cheaper. If you have any questions or concerns please send me a message and we can get something sorted out.

Somewhere along the way, Moose was almost never given the chance to grow up.

At only 7 months old, this sweet coonhound puppy found himself at risk of euthanasia – likely for nothing more than being what he is: a baby still learning, still finding his voice, still figuring out the world. We are thankful that the consulted doctor realized this, and that such a harsh outcome was not carried out on a dog who still had so much left to learn.

Moose is a hound, and yes, he’s learning to use that signature voice of his. In a home that didn’t understand this, it may have felt like “too much.” But here’s the truth: it’s NOT too much. It’s just untaught, unshaped, and so, so full of potential.

Right now, he’s not in an environment to thrive. We’ve tried everything to make him feel more comfortable, but it’s loud here, and confusing for a puppy with such sensitive senses. He howls until his tiny voice goes hoarse, calling out for a comfort he knows just doesn’t come in a kennel.

And yet even through all that fear, Moose chooses love.

He greets you with full-body wiggles. “Attacks” you with tiny kisses that may get your cheeks a little drooled-on, but will remind you every single day of how much he adores you. He walks nicely on a leash, flinging his big floppy ears around in greeting to every new person like they’re his future bestie. We have no doubt that behind this misunderstood pup is a perfect companion for a human that doesn’t need to be perfect in return.

All he needs is patience. More time. Someone who understands that puppies need support, guidance, and a good sense of humor. Our Behavior and Enrichment team is ready to help him settle into his forever home with advice to help lay a great foundation for good puppy manners. We will support you every step of the way, and all we ask in return?
