Saturday finished out our kidding season with Red Dog LS Now and Zin kidding with 2 bucks and a doe. Twin Pears Carolina Herrera kidded 3/7 with 2 bucks and 2 does. I need to work on pictures to post available kids, but in the mean feel free to reach out because there will be quite a few nice kids looking for new homes. And also a doe or two.

Well that was not the start to kidding season that I was expecting. Twist of Fate Lemonade Mimosa kidded a week early, because she still had a week to go (and did not look close) she was not in a kidding pen. This is the first time we have had a doe kid that early. I found her early Friday morning with a very cold live doe kid and a buckling that had not made it. I was a little worried about them at first but now I am cautiously optimistic that both Lemmy and the adorable little doe kid are doing well.
The following day (2 days past her due date) Red Dog LS Soldotna kidded with 2 bucks and 1 doe kid. One of Dotty’s buck kids is huge!
And to finish out the week Red Dog LS Freeze Warning kidded Sunday morning (4 days past her due date) with healthy buck/doe twins.
We have about a two week break until Annette our alpine is due 🙂
