Hello everyone! I have accepted a position teaching in Greenwood so this summer I will no longer be pet sitting. Due to this I need recommendations of other reliable pet sitters who are looking for new clients. I love my current clients and don’t want to leave them high and dry, I also want to make sure their babies are well taken care of. So please leave some recommendations below, most of my clients are for overnight sittings.

It’s that time again!! Any help for these sweet pups is more than appreciated!

Alright my fellow pet-lovers! This sweet girl deserves every chance to get this tumor removed! If you can send more than $5 awesome, if you can only send $1 it’s better than nothing! I could only send her $25 but believe I wished I had more to give her 💙

Well, here she is…
And no. She is NOT pregnant.
I’ll be very honest, I saw her face pop up on the stray intake list at the shelter and I immediately messaged for info and asked “when can she leave?”
I still don’t know what grabs my heart when we see SOOOOO many dogs every single day, SOOOOO much neglect, SOOOOO MUCH BAD.
And truly, it’s TERRIBLE timing as we just took in over 50 dogs and already have 50 dogs in foster homes….
What’s the saying?
“The heart wants what the heart wants”?

This girl is not a little puppy.
She’s not white and fluffy.
She a 75lb older hound dog.
This girl clearly deserves better though.
And tomorrow morning we’re going to start this journey of what is best for Wilhelmina. 🖤
I am not sure if surgery is an option, but our vet is already on it and we’ve already been chatting about which Veterinary Specialist to pull in on her case.
When I met her this week, I promised her I would do whatever it takes to make her feel better.
She just laid on her bed in the shelter kennel, rolled on her side for love and I think she knew.
Better things were coming.

Wilhelmina sees our vet at Holly Tree Animal Hospital tomorrow at 11am, we’ll do initial work up then we’ll determine where we go next to get her the best options.
Now, here comes the part I hate…
We need our community to rally for this girl.
I know the odds are clearly stacked against her.
I know there is a very strong chance that surgery isn’t an option, or she may not even make it through surgery…. BUT.
We are sure as hell going to fight for her.
Can you fight alongside us?
This girl needs everyone behind her!

I know it’s just Thursday, but after the INSANE 2 weeks we have had, maybe we can start Five Dollar Friday a day early and try to get a head start on her fundraising.
