Our babies are growing up!! They will all be turning 2 in April and May. So hard to believe, time goes so fast. Baby Oakley (out of O’Lenas Little Badger) got to have a play session with mom the other day. Aren't they adorable??

Look at our wonder-ponies doing their thing!!! 🦸‍♂️+🐴=😍💪 Horses teach us so much about ourselves if we learn to listen!! What a blessing to share healing and growth with the boys from CCBS!!

As the weather warms up our students continue to grow and learn in their Horsemanship Sessions! We are excited for the upcoming Family Sessions where the families can spend time together with the horses. During these sessions the parents get to see the skills their boys have been learning working with the horses, and to experience some of the activities alongside them. It will be a fun and meaningful time to connect, learn, and enjoy the horses together!

Campers will learn about western and english riding, ba****ck, vaulting, horse care and groundwork. We offer well educated, safe lesson horses in an environment where we value our horses and put the relationship first. Students learn how to partner with our horses, not just control them. The summer camp experience provides space for making lots of new friends.....4-legged and 2-legged!!! Join us for a fun filled week full of horses, laughs, crafts and messy-fun!!!!

So much to be thankful for always......but in the spirit of the day...Happy Thanksgiving!!
So blessed with wonderful horses, students and a fantastic barn-team!! Building a new facility comes with lots of growing pains, but progress continues and we thank everyone for their grace, help and support during this process. Dreams do come true, but not by accident....its through countless hours of sweat-equity, determination and grit!!

Just a little peek at what we’ve been up to the past few weeks! 🐴

While we don’t offer public trail rides at Dark Horse, we do love hitting the trail with our friends and volunteers who’ve been riding and learning with us. Over the last two weeks, we’ve gone on three awesome trail rides—and they did not disappoint!

It’s always such a good time stepping out of the arena and into the woods, putting all those riding skills to use in a real-world way. Big thanks to everyone who joined us… we had a blast out there with you!
