It’s been a while since we’ve had some Antuta fry. I started feeding BBS a week or so ago to start conditioning them to breed again, and this little guy showed up for the feast!
The Antuta have been breeding over the last year but the babies weren’t making it due to lack of food small enough for them to eat. The tank they are in is a 55 gallon black water setup with so many hiding places that finding fry is impossible.
Over the summer I intend on raising some up and maybe giving them away.

A couple of new fish for the fish room. I may breed some splendens because I miss the excitement of the vast variety of colors and shapes!

These jewels have been “growing out” for nearly a year now. This is the holy grail of wild bettas, and hopefully we will be successful at making some fry!

Got another Macrostoma male today, getting ready to make some babies soon. Breeding from two different lines will make some nice fry! 🤑
