Got some gently used pet gear or supplies that you'd like to donate, but not sure how?

We're super happy to announce our new partnership with a new Alaska youth non-profit organization called the Furry Tail Endings Foundation, that seeks to provide needed supplies to rescue and adoption groups in Alaska!

From now on, AK Bark will be a drop-off location for things that could help some pup in a local shelter. Especially needed are:

Dogs & Cats: Wet & dry pet food, treats, toys, blankets & towels, beds, puppy pads, cat litter, scratching pads
Small Animals: Hay & pellets, bedding, chew toys, small animal hides/ habitats
Birds: Bird seed & pellets, perches & toys, cage liners
General Shelter: Cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, disinfecting wipes, trash bags.
Please donate new or gently used items only.

FTEF is a new start-up effort that's in the process of building. They can be found on Instagram . Initial intended recipeints are The Micheal Movement, Crazy Cat Rescue, and Anchorage Animal Care and Control.

Morty may be wondering if we’re absolutely sure he’s going to need a life jacket, but we can say with absolute certainty - YES! Water safety first, and that summer sun is comin’, you guys. We can practically smell it! And once that beautiful weather hits, Morty will have nothing standing between him and glorious lake days. As it should be!
