Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
So many things have changed at the Alaska Zoo over the past 50 years. With all of these changes, the core mission has remained the same. We have helped to rescue, care for, house and rehome thousands of animals in need from Alaska’s wilds. Many are orphaned, others are injured and some arrived here as animals in need of homes from other facilities. We are proud of our mission and look forward to continuing for future generations. If you are interested in supporting our work, visit our Support Options page for a variety of ways you can offer your time, talents or donations. We would not be who we are today without the support of Alaskans and visitors to the Last Frontier. We are Alaska’s only zoo and we take great pride in our growth and services we offer to all visitors. Check out our Education programs and Calendar of Events to learn about zoo opportunities.
