🐾 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED – Arya & Her 5 Puppies 🐾

Arya has been patiently waiting for over a month for someone to step forward and foster her and her newborn puppies. She’s done everything right to keep her little family safe through those very early, fragile days—but they still need a temporary foster home for just about two more weeks before they can transition into our shelter system.

They’re so close now, but they can’t quite get there without a safe place to land.

This is a short-term commitment that makes a lifelong difference. What they need most is a calm, loving home where they can rest, grow, and stay together until they’re ready for the next step.

💛 Would you be willing to open your home for just a couple of weeks and help Arya and her four puppies finish this important chapter strong?

If you can help, please head to alaskaspca.org/becomeafoster

Even sharing this post helps more than you know.

🐾 Harley & Dakota are looking for a loving home 🐾

Harley and Dakota are 13-year-old Boston Terrier litter mates ready to begin a brand new chapter — together. After a lifetime side by side, these sweet sisters are hoping to stay side by side in a calm, caring home where they can spend their golden years surrounded by love. 💛

These two are the definition of comfort and companionship. Gentle, calm, and affectionate, they bring double the love and double the warmth. They’re easygoing girls who would be a wonderful match for a first-time dog owner or anyone looking for sweet, senior snuggle buddies.

Because they’ve always had each other, Harley and Dakota are a bonded pair and must be adopted together — they truly find comfort in one another and thrive as a duo.

Through our Seniors for Seniors Program, adoption fees are waived for adopters age 65+ interested in giving wonderful dogs like Harley and Dakota a loving home. This special program helps senior pets find the comfort they deserve while building meaningful companionship for the people who welcome them in.

🐾 Nova and Her Puppies Need You 🐾

Nova is just a baby herself — and now she’s caring for nine newborn puppies.

As a first-time mother, she’s doing everything she can to keep her little ones safe, warm, and fed. But what this family truly needs right now is a quiet, loving foster home where they can rest, grow, and experience comfort during these critical first weeks of life.

Imagine how overwhelming the shelter can feel for a new mom trying to protect her babies. A foster home gives Nova something every mother deserves: peace, safety, and the chance to simply focus on her puppies.

Fostering saves lives in ways people don’t always see. It gives fragile puppies a healthier start, helps nervous moms decompress, and opens up shelter space for other animals still waiting for help.

And the best part? You won’t be alone. We provide the supplies, food, medical care, and support — you provide the love.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, this is your sign. Even a temporary home can change the course of an animal’s life forever.

Can you help Nova give her puppies the safe beginning they deserve? 💜

🐾 Meet Smokey & Shadow — a bonded pair of 6-year-old brothers looking for their forever home 🐾

Smokey and Shadow are inseparable 6-year-old brothers who would love nothing more than a cozy, calm home where they can finally relax together and be loved.

As a bonded pair, these two must be adopted together — they truly look to each other for comfort and confidence, and they thrive when they’re side by side. 💛

Both boys are a little shy at first, but once they feel safe, their sweet personalities shine through. Shadow tends to warm up a bit quicker than Smokey and, once he does, he becomes incredibly affectionate — happily getting kisses and soaking up all the love he can get. Smokey takes a gentler approach, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms right alongside his brother into a loving, loyal companion.

Together, they’re hoping for a peaceful home where they can settle in, feel secure, and be cherished for exactly who they are.

*FOSTER FOUND*🐾 Foster Found for a Tiny Pup Named Blame 🐾

Meet Blame — a sweet 6-week-old puppy who’s already had a rough start living on the streets. Despite everything, he’s full of potential and just needs a safe, loving place to land.

Before he’s ready to find his forever family, Blame needs a temporary foster home for just two weeks. That short time could make a huge difference in his life — a warm bed, regular meals, and a little care are all he needs to start fresh.

💛 Could you be the bridge between his hard beginning and his happy ending?

🐾 Pig Needs a Safe Place to Heal 🐾

Sweet Pig has already been through more than any animal should. Just when she thought she was on the road to recovery, recent bloodwork showed that something still isn’t right.

Right now, Pig needs something simple but incredibly important: a quiet, loving home where she can rest while our veterinary team works to figure out the medical challenges she’s facing.

She’s only asking for one month. One month of soft blankets, gentle care, and someone willing to give her a chance to heal.

The best part? You won’t be doing it alone. We’ll provide all supplies, food, and medical care through our clinic — Pig just needs you.

If you’ve ever wondered whether fostering can truly change a life, this is that moment. Your home could be the difference between stress and comfort, fear and healing, uncertainty and hope.

Can you open your heart and home to Pig during this critical time?

Your Job Could Help Save More Animals

Did you know your workplace may have an easy way to help Alaska’s dogs and cats?

Many companies — including Costco, U.S. Bank, FedEx, Hilcorp, Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Nordstrom, and Halliburton — offer workplace giving programs that can make your support go even further.

With just a quick check through your employer, you may be able to:
🐾 Donate directly through payroll giving
🐾 Have your donation matched by your company
🐾 Turn volunteer hours into financial support for animals in need

It’s one small step that can create a huge impact for pets waiting for safety, care, and loving homes.

Ask your employer if they offer workplace giving and help us continue changing lives — one animal at a time.
