Join Us in the Colony Days Parade!

The parade is 2 weeks out!! We are excited to announce our participation in the Colony Days Parade on Saturday, June 14th at 11am in Downtown Palmer! This year’s theme is “Grotto Lunger Returns” so we need you and your Berner and any blue dragons you might have!!

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, June 14th
Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Downtown Palmer
Theme: Grotto Lunger Returns

Bring your dogs, dress in your best blue dragon attire (or not- not required) , and get ready to showcase the versatility and charm of our beloved breed. Whether you're highlighting their drafting skills, their status as a top conformation breed, or their role as the best friend of the family, we want to see you there!

Let’s make this year’s parade unforgettable by demonstrating the beauty and versatility of the Bernese Mountain Dog. See you there!

Our plan is to meet up at the train station downtown Palmer at 10am where we will get our assigned number.

Join Us in the Colony Days Parade!

Attention Bernese Mountain Dog Club Members! And non-members !We are excited to announce our participation again in the Colony Days Parade on Saturday, June 14th, at 11am in Downtown Palmer! This year’s theme is “Grotto Lunger Returns”and we need you and your beautiful Bernese Mountain Dogs to help us shine. It has been so much fun in years gone by.

2024 Bernese mtn dog club of Alaska summer picnic is a wrap!!!
Weather was beautiful, food was great, puppies and adults behaved!!

Dear Berner Enthusiasts,

I'm thrilled to introduce myself as Laura Brodigan, the newly appointed President of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Alaska. As we embark on this journey together, I wanted to touch base and share some exciting plans we have in store.

First and foremost, we're eager to reignite our club meetings, starting with virtual gatherings on WhatsApp. It's a great way to connect and share our love for Bernese Mountain Dogs from the comfort of our homes. In due time, we're also planning to transition to in-person meetings, complete with engaging educational sessions.

Summer is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with a picnic? We're gearing up to host a summer picnic where members can mingle, share stories, and enjoy the company of fellow Berner enthusiasts. Additionally, we're gearing up for some exciting fundraising initiatives to support our specialties and draft tests. Together, we can make a real difference in promoting and preserving the Bernese Mountain Dog breed.

But it's not all business – we're dedicated to injecting more fun into our club activities. From social outings to canine-centric events, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

We're eager to hear your ideas, gather input, and welcome new members into our Berner family. Your participation and support are what make our club thrive.
