Alyeska Canine Trainers We offer companion and competitive obedience, agility, nose work, and other specialty classes.

Alyeska Canine Trainers is an all volunteer, non-profit organization started in 1986, by a group of dedicated dog enthusiasts. We use positive training methods to teach you to train your canine companion to be a good family pet as well as a competitor in the sport of Obedience or Agility. We have the largest indoor training facility in Alaska with award-winning instructors. Our brand new larger facility has state-of-the-art, low impact flooring, designed to make jumping safer for your dog.

Come see us at the Dog Jog! ACT will be doing a demonstration at the 2025 Friends of Pets Dog Jog on Saturday 7/26 at Service High. The event is from 9am to 1pm and it’s a huge benefit for the rescue community!

Registration is open until July 24. More information is available online at friendsofpets.org/dog-jog-2025. Hope to see you there!

ACT is proud to be a 907Chip microchip scanning station. Unfortunately, someone stole our chip scanner!
On July 7 we noticed that someone had cut the cable that secures the scanner to the station outside our front door.
The scanner will be replaced but if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of the scanner or who took it, please let us know. Those scanners were funded by community donations and our community needs them!
