Coming out of this icy cold snap it’s important to bring your horses back into work slowly.
We strongly believe walk work is the best medicine.

The Accordion Topline: Riding around your arena in a brisk, forward walk, practice lengthening and shortening your reins and asking your horse to change body posture from longer to shorter. Allow your horse to travel at least 10-15 steps in each frame before asking for the next.

Change direction and shape of your walking below are some ideas.

We were so happy to host Troop 1123 and help them earn their Horseback riding Badge.

These girls did great they jumped right into mucky stalls and helped clean which we always love extra help specially with all this rain !

They had Great questions and Good attitudes!
