🌿✨ Meet Jade ✨🌿

This little gemstone came to us from a fellow (and truly amazing) bottle feeder who specializes in helping rescues with fragile neonates that land at a 24-hour emergency vet hospital. Because of that teamwork and love, Jade and her sisters have had the very best start to life.

Jade is a stunning grey and white beauty with the sweetest personality already beginning to shine through. She loves to cuddle, purrs the second she’s picked up, and is curious about every little thing in her world. She and her sisters are absolutely gorgeous, each one unique, playful, and full of sparkle.

They’ll be ready for adoption in just a few short weeks, and trust us when we say… these girls will be worth the wait!

✨ JUST 4 ITEMS LEFT ON OUR LIST ✨

After a long week of helping Britney recover from surgery and hosting our very first vaccine & microchip clinic, it’s time for a little “Sunday reset.” 💕

I know I’ve asked a lot from everyone lately, and I truly hate asking for more… but our rescue could use a little help with the basics right now. Things like laundry soap, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and reusable piddle pads for our kitten pens go such a long way in keeping our babies safe and clean. Those piddle pads especially create a nice soft barrier between the floor and our tiniest babies.

SUCCESS! 🎉

Our first free vaccine & microchip clinic was a hit!

Today, we were able to serve the residents of Chambers County thanks to the incredible teamwork of our volunteers and the generosity of our supporters.

Special shoutout to Laura & Blake Berg, with Berg Foster Life - Animal Rescue, ultimate dream team. From vaccinating seven dogs out of one vehicle in record speed to safely vaccinating cats and kittens inside vehicles, they kept things moving like true rockstars.

Huge thanks to:
• City of Anahuac for allowing us to use their parking lot
• Amber with the City Shelter for support
• Our neighbors who donated so we can purchase microchips (and even one loaned us a cooler!)
• And most importantly, Petco Love for awarding the grant that made these free vaccines possible

This was only the beginning, we’re already planning another clinic (once the weather cools down 🥵).

I honestly can’t believe I’m even making this post… because HOW has Moose not had any interest yet?! 😭

This boy is seriously the best ever, your instant best friend, your little ham sandwich, your partner-in-crime, and the life of the party all rolled into one adorable kitten package!

Moose is a total lovebug who soaks up attention like a sponge. He adores kids and would thrive in an active, busy household where there’s always someone to play with or cuddle. This guy isn’t just a kitten, he’s the kind of kitten who will weave himself right into the fabric of your family from day one.

First and foremost, from the bottom of my heart…

THANK YOU to every single person who donated to help Britney. 🩷 🙏🏼

After medications, her surgery total ended up being a bit more than expected, but because of your kindness, she’s gotten the care she desperately needed. We’ll be launching some rescue merch soon to help finish paying off her bill and also chip away at our $1,100 balance with Lighthouse Vet Clinic 😭🤢

Britney is out of surgery and back home with me. She did have a bit of a rough recovery, but she’s tucked in on a warm heating pad now, pain meds doing their job, and looking adorably loopy.

She just finished her dinner, some recovery wet food that a kind lady helped us with while I was in Florida (and oh my goodness, what a blessing that was to have on hand right now 🥹). She’s had her evening meds, and is all tucked in.

Her sister Christina came over to her pen to check on her, clearly worried and watching over her. Sisters really do know when something’s wrong. 💔

Please keep this sweet girl in your thoughts as she heals. This wasn’t just a simple amputation, she had a double surgery today, so recovery will be tougher and longer. But Britney is a fighter, and with your love and support, she’s got every reason to keep pushing forward. 💕
