8/15 2PM Still Here*Dog intro videos in comments. Hi everyone, my name is Indy! I don’t know why I’m still here & had no interest, I’m a really good girl. I can sit, shake, I don’t potty in my kennel, I am SPAYED and FULLY VACCINATED, and I love to go on adventures. My favorite type of adventure would have to be a good car ride, (especially if we’re getting pup cups! 🤤) I’m just waiting to meet my best friend! I would love a visit from anyone though, all are welcome!

If you were out early this morning you may have seen this sweet girl was out enjoying an unplanned morning adventure on Miller St. THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO SLOWED DOWN as she crossed the road with no care in the world! I don't know what we would have done if she was hit all because she just wanted a chance to be outside the gate! She has been with us for over two months and finally decided to give us a heart attack this morning and escape! As I arrived at the kennels, my glasses nice and fogged, Indy seen her chance! I opened the shelter gate, unable to see she was out of her kennel and away she went! She stayed near by and came back for her treats and breakfast. It worked out great for her! She got to go on our morning rounds and enjoyed every bit of it! She loves to go on car rides and check out everything! ✨The secret is out! We know many of you will be just as excited as we are! We are in the works of a new shelter thanks to The Anahuac Municipal Development District. We know many of you will have questions, please feel free to ask and we will answer what we can. For those that would like to help, make donations of funds, or donate services, please keep an eye out as we will be posting for any assistance we need when the time is right. We can not wait to take you along on this journey with us! 🐾🤍

Trixie is in search of her forever home or a rescue. She needs a home familiar with her breed & no small children due to her excessive energy and training needed! We also suggest she be an only dog unless you’re well experienced in adjusting dogs to one another.
