All I’m going to say is this: please do not contact me to adopt an animal if you aren’t willing to work through issues.

I am not a rent-a-dog service. These animals are not something you take home, try out, and return when things aren’t immediately easy or convenient.

Animals are work. They require patience, consistency, training, adjustment, and commitment. Puppies are even harder. They chew things. They have accidents. They need structure. They test boundaries. They take time.

When you adopt, you are making a commitment to a living, breathing animal whose entire world just changed.

I understand that there are situations where an adoption truly cannot work, and I will always take my animals back. But please understand what you’re signing up for before you take one home.

Bean deserved commitment the first time. Now we’ll pick up the pieces and make sure the next time is forever. 💔🐾

O ur temporary foster has opened up and is very involved with other dogs and people. She came a long way in 2 weeks. She just needs a permanent family that will be patient, and let her come to them when she is ready. She was not living a great life with her owner who dumped. We take a wide variety of dogs with different personalities who stay here. It's great to have the opportunity for all these dogs adjust, adapt, and learn from each other!

The sweet temporary foster is just so cute and sweet. She's pretty low key. Someone pointed out to me that she has a marking of a heart on her back.. she does!!
