If you are not a dog parent, you wouldn’t relare to my post, and maybe, even think that I’m overly reacting… It’s ok, I understand.
Yesterday Feb 23, 2026, i had to say goodbye to my 18 years old, furry baby, Bella…..not even a month after losing my 20 years old Pepsi.💔😭
I had Bella, since she was a couple of weeks old.
Im so heart broken right now, I didn’t fully had time to alleviate the pain I felt for Pepsi, and yet, I had to make space for more of that horrible hurt, which comes with making that final decision, which ripps your heart apart.
19 and 18 years, is a long time… they were part of so much good and so much bad, in those 18-19 years, always present with that unconditional love.
Bella was a feisty little one, tiny and very agile, very strong presence, she was to “boss “ in our house, she ran to Rick for everything, he was definitely her favorite person. She had this crazy,messy look about her, that was adorable, sometimes i looked at her and i thought i was seeing a monkey. She loved to dress up and looked like she smiled, whenever she was told she looked pretty.

The house feels empty, and the silence makes me miss them even more.
Love you Pepsi & Bella.

I loved you your whole life,
I’ll miss you for the rest of mine.

These are my 2 fur babies.
I have had Pepsi for 19 years out of her 20, I have had Bella for her full 18 years of life.
I knew exactly who and what they were all about. I understood their way of communications like if they were talking to me.
I lost them both within less than a month from each other. I’m hurting so much, I cannot not think of them all day long. Writing about them helps me cope with the pain. Thanks for reading.

Posted this in 2021. Not sure of how many have seen it, and the importance if it, Im re-posting.
Please take this seriously, will prevent unhealthy,unhappy pets, with lots of family stress and $$$$ stress.
We all know how much each visit to the vet cost, especially if it involves surgery of any kind.
