Pintler Pets Humane Society Pintler Pets is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 humane society in Anaconda Montana.

While the shelter is still not officially open to the public (due to Covid), meet and greets can be scheduled after an application has been submitted and approved. Please visit https://www.pintlerpetsmt.org to view our adoptable pets and adoption application. Applications must be approved before adoption and Pintler Pets reserves the right to refuse any adoption. Adoption Fees*
Puppies (under 6 mo

nths): $225.00
Dogs (6 mo - 3 years): $175.00
Dogs (3 - 6 years): $150.00
Senior Dogs (7+ years): $60.00
Kittens (under 6 months): $70.00
Cats (6+ months): $50.00
Cats (Seniors): $30.00
Bonded Pair (Cats): $90.00

*All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including Rabies if old enough and kennel cough for dogs), dewormed, and microchipped.

After over 2.5 years at the shelter with zero applications, our sweet boy Lucky has finally found his forever home. And after almost 2 years, Helen has also found a home. We are beyond thrilled for them — it’s the happy ending they both waited so patiently for.

With Lucky and Helen's departure, the title of Longest-Term Resident now belongs to Albert.

Albert has been with us since December 2023. Despite his size, he is a true gentleman and has a sweet disposition. But after so many months without a home, we’re starting to see his light dim. The stress of shelter life is starting to weigh on him, and we know he deserves better.

Let’s find this incredible boy the loving home he’s been waiting for.

We had some wonderful volunteers visit the shelter and take our pups—including some of our longest-term residents—out for a much-needed walk and fresh air. It was heartwarming to see their tails wagging as they enjoyed a break from the kennels, soaking up sunshine, sniffs, and love.

Kitties Make Wonderful Campanions

Beautiful little Coco was adopted from Pintler Pets just about one year ago. We have some many beautiful, unique gorgeous kitties looking for loving homes. Proven fact that cats provide soothing emotional support while you are relaxing reading a book, watching television, or to simply have a friend to come home to after a long day. Let alone they are fabulous with mouse hunting for that occasional mouse that may get into your home. Please stop in and visit with them to find your new friend to bring into your warm, loving home.
