2025 SEASON PRICING 🦌

We will be taking a limited number of deer this season. As many of you know we grew our family and welcomed our second daughter, Mabel, this July! Our main objective is always doing what’s best for our children. This is a decision we prayed over for a long time!

We are going to be trying to grow in other ways this season than the number of heads we take in.

⚠️We will be doing our own in house tanning again! ⚠️

I began by doing my own tanning when I started in 2021 and into 2022 deer season bucks before I got pregnant with our first daughter, Hadley.

I hope to share more information on here about the process of taxidermy. Educating others has always been a big passion of mine! From teaching young children about environmental education in outdoor summer camps to sharing information with you all - I thoroughly enjoy sharing the joys that nature and wildlife in all forms can bring each person in different ways.

I had a great time chatting with this returning client who had some fun ideas for this years deer while picking up his mount from last year! I found out last years buck, this one pictured above was not only his first buck, but his first season hunting. I’m always perplexed by how people get into hunting as adults. This one was because he had joined the army and made a lot of friends who hunted and they shared that with him. From his first hunt he said he was hooked. It really is a special experience for so many of us to get that time alone in nature. It’s never too late to get into hunting! Hunter numbers have been decreasing since the 60s, while the average age of hunters have gone up. We can’t let this integral conservation tool age out. Luckily, after the pandemic in 2020 there has been and increase in hunters! I always encourage you to teach someone about the ethics of a hunt or be encouraging and helpful to teaching others!

Happy Christmas Eve to many hunters! With opening day tomorrow I just wanted to give a reminder on how to cape out your deer! There are tons of resources on YouTube and feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Remember field care is one of the most important aspects of having a great mount!

Here are some tips ⬇️

▪️Try not to drag your deer
◾️Cape it and keep it dry and cool asap
▪️Avoid cutting the armpits and brisket too short
◾️ More hide is better than not enough
▪️Do not use water to rinse out the cavity
◾️If your unsure on where to cut along the white and brown hair on the legs- just tube them
