March 5, 2022, Minicourse on “Embryo Recovery and Transfer in the Mare”, held at Equine Reproduction Concepts, LLC, located in Amissville, Virginia. This 1-day course is designed to educate veterinarians on the procedures of embryo recovery and processing for shipment. As part of an ERC-affiliated program, intentions are to help establish a network of veterinarians around the country able to ship embryos. (8 CE credits awarded)

March 7, 2022, Minicourse on “Reproductive Ultrasonography in the Mare” held at Equine Reproduction Concepts, LLC, located in Amissville, Virginia. This 1-day course is designed to give veterinarians the opportunity to gain experience using ultrasonography to aid in mare reproductive management. 4 hours lecture, 4 hours laboratory experience. March 8-9, 2022, and/or March 10-11, 2022, “Individual Experience with Ultrasounding In-House Mares”, held at Equine Reproduction Concepts, LLC, located in Amissville, Virginia. A herd of 15 to 20 in-house mares will be available daily (3.5 hour sessions) for palpation/ultrasound exams. Participants are welcome to utilize these mares throughout a 2- or 4- day period to gain experience with palpation and ultrasonographic techniques.
