Alpha-Dog Pet Center is also pleased to offer comprehensive Dog Training programs from puppies to adult dogs, along with specialty programs such as Therapy & Service Dog certification, CGC Testing, Behavior Modification, and other specialty classes. Additionally, we are proud to offer limited Pet Grooming services for Dogs & Cats, including Nail Trims, Ear Cleaning, Teeth Brushing, A**l Glands, and Bath/Brush services. Gooming services are offered right here INSIDE Alpha-Dog Pet Center, too. You can get more information by contacting us at (440) 984-3152 for information! We are also co-located with Equiflexion Small Animal and Horse Massage, which offers comprehensive Pet Massage Therapy for dogs and cats, right HERE at Alpha-Dog. Equiflexion's certified Pet Massage Therapist, Kerry, can be reached at (330) 472-8126, for more information or to schedule an appointment. Finally, we also have a proud partnership with VIP PetCare, a wonderful organization that provides low-cost wellness clinics at pet stores like ours! VIP PetCare comes to Alpha-Dog every 4 weeks on Thursday evenings, to provide low-cost vaccines, microchipping, heartworm testing, and many more wellness services. THANK YOU to everyone who came-out to support our Pet Holiday (Santa) Photo event this past Sunday, here at Alpha-Dog Pet Center! Storm's Angels Rescue made over $1,500 in donations from this event, which will provide SO MUCH to the animals they care for, and allow them to continue to all the great work they do! It is with a very Heavy Heart that Alpha-Dog Pet Center must announce the passing of our "Chief of Barketing", CORA, the Therapy Dog. Cora passed away today (December 1, 2025) after an over three year battle with cancer. Cora brought so much joy to everyone she came in contact with. From her years working in the Amherst Schools and nursing homes as a Therapy Dog, to greeting everyone who visited Alpha-Dog Pet Center, she was loved by many and returned that love tenfold to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed. Rest easy, Cora... We'll take it from here! We love you, and you will be missed very much!

Alpha-Dog Pet Center is at a really PAWESOME Adoption Event today at Spitzer's Chevy in Amherst! Talking about our retail store, pet wash, first-aid classes, and more!!! Come out until 4 pm today and see some adoptable pets from Friendship Animal Protective League !!!
