Goodbye my sweet Ludo, you were a one of a kind farm dog. You loved us fiercely and made sure every living thing in south Amherst knew we were yours. Thank you for 10 years of watching over us 🩷

After being benched for many seasons due to all sorts of factors Barbie and I finally had a chance to get to GMHA this past weekend to get some long overdue show miles.

Day one featured a little unnecessary cantering, so we decided to call that test a mulligan. 🤪

On Sunday we stuck to the script and Barbie reminded me he does know how to trot. We scored a 67% and took home 1st place with plenty of room for improvement. Dressage is equal parts humbling, unpredictable, and magical, I’m so glad I get to do it with this dance partner 🥇🦄💗

Special thanks to my shipper (husband), groom (husband), trainer (husband), and coffee wrangler (husband). And to Amy Bresky for the wonderful stay at the stunningly beautiful Over and Over Farm, sorry my jackass (husband) pulverized your vintage lawn chair 🙄 Matt Ingellis and lastly super special thank you to the nice lady in E barn that flicked the scary bug off my back before I started crying.
