Buffalo Underdogs Rescue We are an all-breed, volunteer-driven nonprofit org. BUR saves dogs in WNY as well as from a rural kill shelter in Eastern TX.

We pull dogs from shelters & transport them to their awaiting foster homes, in the Buffalo area.

Cora came to us earlier this year with inoperable mammary tumors. Now a hospice foster, she’s living like the princess she was always meant to be.❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Our sweet Tina from the Bob’s Burgers litter has officially been ADOPTED! 🥳❤️

Tina hit the jackpot with an amazing couple who are already head over heels for their new little girl! 🥰 And let's just say, this girl is about to live the good life!

👑 With her new mom home all day to shower her with love and attention, and a 3-year-old human granddaughter to play with, Tina is destined to be one VERY pampered princess! 💕🐶

Orion has graduated!🎓 This handsome 1-year-old Catahoula mix, about 65 pounds of pure goofball charm, just wrapped up his board-and-train with our friends at R&R K9 LLC and he is officially ready to find his forever home.💫

Orion is deaf but it does not slow him down one bit. He just experiences the world a little differently, and he makes the most of every moment. This boy loves to learn, he has made amazing progress, and he is eager to keep going with a family who will continue the good work.

Orion is as friendly as they come. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and he believes every human he meets is his new best friend. If you have been searching for a loyal, people-loving companion with a gorgeous Catahoula coat and a big, goofy heart, this sweet boy is waiting for you!🩵

Meet Angie🐾 Good things really do come in small packages, and Angie is living proof! 🥹❤️ This adorable little pocket pittie weighs just 35 pounds, but she has a whole lot of love to give!

Angie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, her sweet personality really shines. She’s an affectionate little girl who absolutely LOVES to cuddle and will happily snuggle up next to you for some quality couch time. 🥰

Don’t let her love for cuddles fool you, though! Angie has a playful side, too! She enjoys romping around with her doggy friends and would love a home where she can enjoy some playtime before curling up with her favorite humans.

Help us name our newest pups! 🐶🐶

We recently welcomed two puppies into foster care after they were surrendered to the City Of Buffalo Animal Shelter. As you may have recently seen on the news, our local shelter is over capacity, and young pups are especially vulnerable in that kind of environment.

The good news is these two are now safe and cozy in their foster homes! Now we need your help choosing names for this sweet duo.
