The 2025 L.E.G.S.® in Motion Conference was truly like none other.

From the science to the storytelling to the shared commitment to doing better for dogs—this weekend left us all changed in the best way.

Kim Brophey has long been a leader in helping our industry break out of the box…
And this crew? They took that literally. (Just look at the photo!)

We couldn’t have done this without this incredible community of professionals, advocates, and lifelong learners.
Thank you for showing up. Thank you for leaning in. Thank you for believing in something better.

Perfection isn’t the goal. Progress is.

When working aggression cases, it’s easy to get caught up in trying to do everything “right.” We want the ideal safety setup. The perfect desensitization plan. The cleanest training mechanics.

But real life is messy. Clients are tired. Dogs have histories. Environments aren’t always controlled. And sometimes, the plan shifts.

The Aggression In Dogs Master Course—and this work—isn’t about being flawless. It’s about:
✔️ Making things safer, even if not perfect
✔️ Communicating clearly and with empathy
✔️ Listening to what the dog is saying instead of pushing an agenda
✔️ Meeting clients where they are and moving forward together

When we lead with safety, empathy, and flexibility, progress happens. Sometimes it’s big and bold. Sometimes it’s quiet and slow. But it matters.

The most impactful work doesn’t always look flashy. Sometimes, it’s just a dog who no longer needs to defend himself—and a family that can finally exhale.
