We have been a little quiet on here for a while, and that is ok. We finally ventured out for our first breed show in almost two years! As we have rebranded, restructured and redesigned our program, we are forging a new path on how we want to do things.

These pictures are all part of “story”. Stories of each horse, stories of each person, stories of the relationships between each one, stories of us all together, story about what God is calling us to be in our lives, story about what we are divinely designed to do with our gifts and talents…

God first… not a student of the horse first, but a student of the Word of God, the Spirit of God and the heart of the Father - first. Everything else falls into place when that foundation is laid and that priority is set in stone.

These people have the most beautiful hearts, and God is using these horses to teach us so much. We are loving this journey, the things we are learning, the ways we are being challenged and shaped, and the mysteries being revealed along the way…

What a great horse show, what a wonderful story God writes for us when we hand Him the pen.

Happy New Year everyone! We know it’s been little quiet on here… 2024 was a tough year and we are gaining some traction as we welcome a fresh start.

Some of you know the story of our beloved mare, Cherry Creek Hallelujah. This girl holds such a precious place in our hearts and we have waited patiently and tried to do right by her as we brought her along and helped her gain confidence.

While Shelby has been out of commission, our dear friend, Alicia McClelland, has been working with “Lou” and we are so incredibly grateful for her dedication and good work with her. Shelby has been able to take a handful of short rides on her, and she is coming along beautifully.

Collaboration is a beautiful thing, and it’s such a gift to have folks in the horse industry who are so genuine and kind, and who come alongside you selflessly… Alicia is such a blessing. We just want to say a public thank you to her as Lou closes out her time there and comes home soon. Our paths will continue to travel side by side and a friendship has been forged in the midst of what has felt so hard.

Thank you Alicia and Chiefla Stables Horse Training for the enormous gift of stewarding Lou these last few months. You have done such outstanding work with her and we stand by you both personally and professionally 💜

I don't know who needs to hear this but:

People are talking about you... Yep, and most of it is probably not positive either. They're whispering about your new job saying you're not capable. Questioning whether you can exceed and overcome that obstacle. Taking screenshots of your posts. Saying you shouldn't have built that boundary or expressed the truth as it's not ladylike. Wondering why you're still with that person or still single. Saying nobody wants to listen to your podcast or wants what you're selling. Telling people you're crazy or need help. Telling people you can't afford that new house, car, etc.

Remember Noah? They laughed and talked about him too.

People can't override what God has ordained for you. God is ordering your steps, not them. Remember, not everyone will understand you calling, it wasn't a conference call.

At the end of the day, the only power we have is within ourselves. So remember to be kind, work hard, and let God do the rest.
