We love the warmer weather here, but are bringing bad news.

Remember when Kenny's peg busted open & they said if it happened again they would need to amputate it?

Well... Kenny just had to get sunshine zoomies & do it again. Everyone boo Kenny-_-

Since he only lost his foot as a baby, he kept at least 2/3 of his leg. Many cats do fine keeping it, but in some cases they keep busting it open at the end where the last bone is. When this happens, the vet has to amputate to prevent serious infection, pain, etc.

We're doing a small fundraiser to assist with his surgery if anyone is able. You can also help by sharing this post on social media!

He has to get his estimate renewed at the vet, but here is the one we requested the first time it happened.

Anyone interested in adopting a 13 year old spayed calico?
We received an email stating that she has behavioral issues- aggression & urinating outside of the litter box when upset.
They have been giving her Fluoxetine, applied in cream form to her ears. This has been helpful, but she doesn't like the 2 other pets or 2 children. The family has had her since she was a kitten, but is unable to manage the behavior.

RIP to Sid Sr. He left us yesterday peacefully at the ripe age of 18. He was rescued from a trailer park in 2021, where he was being hit by some @ #$hole teenagers. He mellowed during his time with us, but still stayed slightly on guard.

She had to be kept overnight at her vet due to constipation but gets to come home today!

They're recommending a prescription GI diet for her, due to the incontinence issues she has. The spinal damage plays a large role in her bathroom issues.
