It’s a Christmas dream come true! Ringo went home with an amazing family today and we couldn’t be happier for him and his new life as a spoiled kitty!

Tonight we were blessed with the addition of Bernard (Bernie), who made a lucky break from a transport trailer and was picked up by a wonderful, caring woman who wanted nothing more than to see him into a home where he could grow up and just be a pig getting to enjoy lots of land and a loving barn to call home. We are SO happy to be able to provide this for him! Bernie will need lots of TLC and will be getting checked out by our vet for any signs of injury or sickness from his journey. Rescue work isn’t a 9-5 job. Rescue work is 24/7. Earlier today we got a call about roosters that were dumped in a neighborhood near a busy street. One had already gotten hit by a car and killed. We don’t know how many are left out there, but for tonight we at least have one safe in our possession. Tomorrow the search continues.
