We’d like to start showing appreciation for our employees, and our amazing clients/patients that keep our lights on! We’d like to get employee spotlights posted to our page every so often, and have a weekly patient spotlight as well!!

It would be wrong to start with anyone other than our beloved Doctor Shannon Kofoed🤎The reason we are all here. Featuring Moose, our 8wk old visitor a few weeks ago☺️

Dr. K started working with animals at the age of 15 where she was a kennel technician. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and has since worked in general practice, surgery, and emergency medicine.

Dr. K is proud mom of 3 young boys, Bryson, Barrett, and Braxton. And is extremely passionate in practicing veterinary medicine. The woman does NOT sleep. From regular clinic hours, to urgent care appointments, emergency after hour appointments, home visits, and farm calls, Dr. Kofoed is a one of a kind DVM who is always sure to put you and your pets needs first.

She is informational, takes her time, gentle, and spends countless hours learning every day with her team to be the best Dr for your kiddos. Northwoods would not be Northwoods without Dr. Shannon and we are all so very grateful to work alongside her.
