SAVMA Field Day 2026👣🥇

Our SAVMA members had a blast at the first ever field day! They competed in events such as 50 yard dash, kickball, corn hole, water balloon toss, tug-a-war, and even a hot dog eating contest! 🌭

SAVMA is now accepting applications for TWO prestigious AVMA committees: 🩺✨ • Clinical Practitioners Advisory Committee (CPAC) • Early Career Development Committee (ECDC)
This is your chance to advocate for veterinary students on a national level, build your leadership skills, and gain valuable insight into AVMA committee work! 💼🐾
🔹 CPAC: Represent the student voice on issues related to biologics and therapeutics, including drug availability, quality assurance, and more. 🔹 ECDC: Help shape resources and opportunities for recent grads while sharing your student perspective and building connections.

Proud of Erica Boneham and Suuzanne Eubank for representing our profession at the American Veterinary Medical Association Fly-In in Washington, D.C.! 🇺🇸🐾

They met with legislators to discuss the Illicit Xylazine Act and the Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP), amplifying the voice of veterinary students and standing up for the future of animal and public health.

Our students took a well-deserved break from lectures and exams last week to make beautiful flower bouquets for Valentine’s Day 💐

We are so happy everyone enjoyed the flowers and we can’t wait to put it on again next year! 💝
