Bug had a spa day today and she looks fabulous! Thank you Scott and staff for doing this for our babies.. Bug is a long stay with us she’s around 4-5 yrs old lab mix and loves to cuddle. Bark Avenue is now hiring. We are looking for three individuals to add to our fast-growing business. Here are the positions available: Groomer Assistant/Bather Brusher. This is what a Bather Brusher does at Bark Avenue -- Brush, Bathe and Dry the dogs. Cut and file the nails. Clean the ears Express glands when needed. Clean your work area as needed. ETC... We work as a Team everyday so you must have great communication skills. We will train the right motivated person. Compensation as follows: $13.00 per hour (this is a full-time position 40 hours) 100% of your tips from the customer (no tip sharing) PTO hours after 90 days. Uniform compensation. Paid continuing education Just to give you an idea of what the above equates to, $17.00 to $23.00 per hour is the average pay for this position. We are looking to fill these positions starting 9/1/24. We do have an extensive interview process because we want only the best working with our Grooming Team. This position is a great segway to learning how to become a professional groomer. Ask about our Groomer Training program.

Millie, Lulu, and Maverick are regulars for grooming so we wasted no time diving into a good game of fetch and enjoying the sunny weather while they visited 😍☀️Love these kiddos and can’t wait to see them next time!

We believe that a smaller style facility like Bark Avenue’s Bed and Breakfast has superior advantages over the massive kennels that are in abundance in Amarillo. Our Human to Canine ratio is 1 to 1. Your beloved family member will never be tossed out in some play yard with 50 other dogs to fend for themselves, this is an accident waiting to happen. Instead, your precious pet will have One on One play time every two hours until 10pm which is bedtime at the Resort. Breakfast is served at 8am with outside playtime and plenty of naptimes to follow.
