This summer has been one for the books for the Huntress K9 family. 🐾❤️ (K9 Kawika, K9 Bodhi, K9 Xander, & K9 Jax)

Our pups have been busy putting in the work, whether supporting our own contracts or having the incredible opportunity to work for some amazing companies and some truly outstanding people.

In a world of negativity, and a K9 world that can sometimes be a tough and competitive place. It can feel cut throat, and at times it’s easy to forget that behind every working dog is a team of people who share the same passion, dedication, and commitment to doing things the right way.

But the community we have found has been something truly special. We have been fortunate to work alongside teams who welcomed us, encouraged us, and treated us like one of their own. They have shared their knowledge, offered advice, answered questions, and taken the time to help us grow.

This profession requires constant learning, and we are incredibly grateful for those who understand that lifting others up doesn’t take away from your own success, it strengthens the entire K9 community.

To the companies who opened their doors to us, and to the handlers, and trainers who took the time to share their experience, THANK YOU! Your generosity, professionalism, and willingness to help others succeed means more than you know.

Every training session, every deployment, every conversation, and every lesson learned has helped shape Huntress K9 into what it is today. We are thankful for the friendships made, the knowledge gained, and the partnerships built along the way.

The pups may be the ones wearing the harnesses, but behind every great K9 team is a community of people who believe in each other.

One of the few perks of having a day off is getting to spend it doing something that fills my soul.

I couldn’t pass up the chance to spend some time with the sweetest little pups before graduating to the “big dogs” for an incredible two-hour trail ride with a good friend. There’s just something about being surrounded by wagging tails, good horses, great company, and the peaceful beauty of the trails that makes all the stress of everyday life disappear.

Some days don’t need to be extravagant to be perfect. Just puppies, horses, wonderful friends, and the freedom of the trail. I’d call that a day well spent. ❤️🐶🐴
