I was very fortunate to train and witness this awesome little girl. DOB 05/06/2026, BOOM and Louise’s first litter, and this also marks the end of our breeding program. It was always fun and exciting to be able to train Heritage’s pups, as it gave us confirmation on the disposition of our breeding program. Out of this last litter, we trained Tiberius, Nina, and Legacy! I am truly proud and honored to have been able to work with German Shorthaired Pointers… for over 20 years. Even though I was a hunter, my goal was always to produce healthy family companions, and a hunting dog second. Most of my customers do not hunt, and therefore, we focus on obedience and calmness. The ability to shut it off is more important to me, as this allows your dog to be able to travel more places with the family. I only engaged Legacy one time with a bird just to see if she was a natural, and she is. She chased a live bird, picked it up, and carried it—a mouthful of bird and head held high, she ran across the yard proudly! Legacy is not going to a hunting home, but nevertheless, if needed, her abilities are natural! The dedication and appreciation that my customers have had for my program has been truly amazing… I know and understand that my customers are a select group of people who just love the GSP! I am proud to hand this beautiful little girl to Danielle Stevens. Danielle Stevens is a returning customer, as she already has one of Heritage’s pups out of Cowboy and Viviana.
