🐾 Altus, we need your help. 🐾

The Altus Animal Shelter - City Government Department is hosting a Regional Adoption Event on November 15, and our dream is simple — to give every animal a chance to be seen, loved, and maybe even find their forever home.

But to make that dream possible, we need YOU!

We’re looking for:
✨ Vendors who want to be part of something meaningful
🍔 Food trucks willing to help draw a crowd
🎶 Entertainers who can fill the day with joy

Our budget is small, but our hearts are huge.
If you’re willing to lend your time, talent, or presence — not for profit, but for the pure goodness of helping animals and bringing our town together — we would be beyond grateful.

Even if every animal doesn’t get adopted that day, the love, laughter, and support from our community will remind them (and us) that they are not forgotten. ❤️

Amy’s world changed recently when her beloved owner passed away, and now she’s hoping to find a new family to love. Despite everything she’s been through, Amy continues to greet everyone with kindness and that signature lab smile.
She’s Happy, well-mannered, and loves nothing more than a cozy spot by your side. Amy doesn’t ask for much — just a soft bed, and a loving home to call her own for her golden years.

🚨Do You Know This Dog??🚨

Meet Xander! Xander was tied to our mailbox at almost 10 pm last night and made to sleep the whole night out in the cold, in a strange place, with nothing and nobody around him. Xander was not found until 7:45 this morning.
Xander is doing fine, he got warmed up, he got to make new friends, and he got breakfast, but we still don't know where Xander came from.
