We had such a great time yesterday at the Altoona Reptile Expo! A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors who came out and brought their best — from quality animals to great deals and friendly smiles, you all helped make the day something special. 🙌 Your professionalism and dedication are what make these shows shine! 💚

To all of our wonderful attendees — thank you for spending the day with us! It was so nice seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. 😊

We had some heartwarming moments too! 💥
🧍‍♀️ One visitor came in a little nervous about snakes, but after connecting with one of our incredible vendors, she was confidently holding one before she left!
🕸️ Another guest faced their fear of spiders, took time to learn about arachnids — and even took one home!

This is what it’s all about: education, connection, and growth. 💬🧠💫

We’re already looking forward to the next Altoona Reptile Expo on August 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Father Kelley Hall. Save the date — we’ll see you there! 🗓️

🦎🐍 THANK YOU, ALTOONA! 🐢🕷️
What a weekend!! 💥 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and showed their love at the Altoona Reptile Expo yesterday! 🏞️ With this being our second show back, it was incredible to see so many familiar faces — and just as exciting to meet all the new friends who joined our reptile family for the first time! 🥰

We truly missed all of you while we were on the hunt for our new venue — and being back together felt like coming home. 💚

To our awesome vendors: THANK YOU for bringing out some jaw-dropping animals 🐊🦎🐍, gorgeous setups, and a whole lot of passion for the hobby. There are some new faces on the floor, and we’ve been blessed with fresh talent — but we’ll always be grateful for our veteran vendors who have been with us from the start. 🙌 You’re the backbone of this event!

One of our favorite parts of the day?
🎧 Walking down the aisles and hearing you all share your knowledge with new and curious exotic pet owners. That’s the real magic. 🪄🐸🐍

A Huge Thank You to Everyone Who Made the Altoona Reptile Expo a Success!

We want to send a big THANK YOU to all the amazing vendors and attendees who joined us this past Saturday at the Altoona Reptile Expo! It was fantastic catching up with so many past customers we hadn’t seen since last year, and just as exciting to meet a whole new group of reptile lovers who helped make this show great.

A special shoutout to our dedicated vendors who brought an incredible selection and stayed until the very end, even battling through the icy mess on the way home—we truly appreciate you!

We can’t wait to see you all again at our next show on April 12th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Father Kelley Hall (2412 Fifth Street, Altoona, PA 16601). Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you there!

2025 Show Dates!!!

We know you missed us and we are sorry we had to temporarily shut down. The good news is, that after a year of researching venues, we're excited to announce the Altoona Reptile Expo has found its new home! While we’ve loved our time at the Altoona Grand Hotel, rising prices made it impossible to continue without raising ticket costs. We truly value the time spent with the hotel and its wonderful staff! In our new home, we'll have more space to move around and the ability to customize our concessions menu to enhance your experience.

We're also going back to our roots by lowering general admission prices to just $5! And don’t worry, we’re still the first to offer military and senior discount admissions, which we will continue to honor.

Join us for the return show on February 8th, 2025, at Father Kelley Hall, 2412 5th St, Altoona, PA 16601. Stay tuned for all the 2025 show dates, and we can’t wait to see you there! 🦎🐍

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the cancellation of the Altoona Reptile Expo until January of 2025. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to proceed with the event as planned. We understand the disappointment this may bring, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

However, fear not! In the interim, we invite you to join us at the Johnstown Reptile Expo, held bi-monthly, just a short 20-minute drive away. Explore a fascinating array of reptiles, meet fellow enthusiasts, and indulge your passion for these incredible creatures.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time of transition. Please mark your calendars for the return of the Altoona Reptile Expo in 2025, where we promise an even bigger and better event!

Join us on May 18th, 2024, as we kick off the 7th year of the show in style! 🎈 Prepare for a day packed with thrilling reptile encounters, fascinating exhibits, and more! 🦎 Don't miss this chance to experience the ultimate reptilian adventure in our brand-new location! Mark your calendars and join us for an electrifying day of reptile fun and excitement! 🎉🐢🎉 May 18th, 2024, between 9:00am and 3:00pm!! All paid entries get a free ticket to the Blair County Craft & Oddity Show, on the same day, in the next room!!

Feeder time. We are here at the Logan Valley mall in front of the sears building. We have extra live rats and meal worms in addition to our orders till 7 pm. We are low on extra rats and meal worms aside from orders.

It saddens us to have to cancel the show for next weekend. There was an issue at the venue and it would not be safe for us to hold this event next weekend. We normally would move the show to another weekend, however, with the economy, most all of the vendors have their weekends filled up, so we would not have enough vendors to hold the event if we moved. We will return for the grand opening of the new venue on May 18th, 2024, from 9:00am to 3:00pm!!! Save the date and we will see you all soon!!!

If any of you who attend this show for your feeders and supplies, are unable to last until May 18th, please immediately reach out to us, we have 2 vendors who we are working with who will come up to deliver feeders and supplies.

After 2 years of looking and negotiating, we have finally landed our new home at the old Sears building at Logan Valley Mall, only 1 mile down the road from the Altoona Grand Hotel! We will have plenty room for expansion as we build the first local JACE Group Event Center!! We had a great run at the Altoona Grand Hotel, however, we have out grown the space a long time ago!! So come on out to the show this month and see all the great pets that our vendors are going to bring for you to take home!! We are excited for our move and we look forward to seeing you at the new location!!
