🎆Seems strange that summer is already almost over but here we are, at Labor Day Weekend!🎆

Both stores will be open for our usual hours of 9am-5pm on Saturday, August 30th. Both stores will be closed Sunday Aug 31 and Monday September 1.

Starting September 2nd and moving forward, our Altoona store will be open at 10am. The Des Moines store will still be opening at 9am!

Our groomers at both stores WILL still be accepting appointments as early as 8am, so don't hesitate to call us or your favorite groomer with questions!

We are so grateful for all the workers who make this country run and we hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!

Fun Doodle Facts:
🐕‍🦺The first documented Labradoodle was bred in Australia in 1989 by a member of the Royal Guide Dog Association who was attempting to breed a guide dog for a woman whose spouse was allergic to dog fur!

🤧Doodle breeds are much less likely to activate an allergic response than other dog breeds, although they have dander like every dog!

💧The original Poodles were bred in Germany to be water retrievers! According to the American Kennel Club, "Poodle" comes from the German “pudel” or “pudelin,” which means “to splash in the water.”

🫧It'll be August soon, so it must be time for another drop-in mini-spa day!🫧

🐶We love getting to meet all your dogs that drop by the first Saturday of each month! Our groomers will be on standby to perform services on a first-come, first-served basis.

💅The most popular are the nail trims and grinds, but don't forget that you can choose from a variety of additional options-ear cleaning, teeth brushing, even getting their paw pads cleaned up!

Meet Angelina- This incredible kid visited us this weekend.
